Khaleda Zia returns home after health check-up

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned home after undergoing a medical check-up at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

She arrived at her residence at 2:52 am on Wednesday night (early Thursday), following her departure from the hospital at 2:26 am.

The information was confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

Khaleda Zia was taken to the hospital at 1:48 am for urgent medical tests.

Her personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, stated that the BNP chief was taken to Evercare Hospital under the advice of her medical board for some necessary tests.

“She has returned home after completing the required examinations,” he said.

Khaleda Zia is currently under the supervision of a medical board led by Evercare Hospital’s specialist physician Professor Shahabuddin Talukder.
