Govt fixes new dates for postponed HSC exams

The government has fixed new dates for the two HSC exams that were postponed following the Uttara jet crash tragedy.

The exams for 22 July will be held on 17 August and the exams for 24 July has been rescheduled on 19 August, said the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee in a notification on Wednesday.

Due to the delays in holding written exams, the government has also pushed back the practical exam dates. The practical exams will be held between 21 August and 3 September instead of the previously announced timespan of 11-21 August.

The rescheduled dates apply to all the nine general education boards.

Furthermore, authorities have also rescheduled Cumilla board’s HSC exams, which were suspended due to floods. The board’s 10 July exams will be held on 12 August.

The 17 July exams of Gopalganj district were suspended due to Awami League’s clashes with law enforcers. These exams will be held on 14 August in the district.
